SQM's No Fee Airline Inspections

SQM Airline InspectionMost airlines are still committed to providing the highest possible levels of quality, service, and cleanliness, however, with today's challenging economic conditions, many of these businesses are also looking for ways of reducing their expenses and doing more with less.

As a result, SQM now offers a unique, inspection program for the airline industry.

Of particular interest, would be the fact that these inspections are completed at no cost to the client, other than the expenses (i.e. airfare and taxes). There are no inspection fees or travel expenses associated with this program!

The program works as follows:

  1. Each Mystery Shop would involve the inspection / evaluation of various areas or departments of the travel experience (i.e. ticketing, boarding, in-flight service, cleanliness, food and beverage, etc.).
  2. The client will provide SQM with a maximum number of inspections that they would like to be completed each month.
  3. Tickets could be acquired by our inspectors or through consultant passes (most airlines choose this method so no cash payments are required).
  4. The client is welcome to blackout any routes or dates from the inspection program, recognizing that the more restrictions that are in place, will result in few inspections being completed.
  5. With the exception of any project set-up fees, the only cost to the client will be the expenses and taxes incurred during the course of the inspections (i.e. airfare only, there will be NO inspection fees).
  6. In the event that a request is made to inspect a flight or route on a specific date, our regular fee structure would apply (i.e. approximately $500.00, but based on project specifics).

Since there are no inspection fees, clients can complete as many Mystery Shops as they would like:

  • Monitor brand standards
  • Measure quality and service levels
  • Reduce incidents of cash or liquor control violations
  • Create a more heads up attitude regarding safety and security
  • Assist with risk management
  • Prepare for corporate or government audits
  • Monitor loyalty / rewards programs

In addition to measuring and monitoring a company's various brand standards, the program is typically used to create a more "heads up attitude" amongst staff. As some clients would say "employees expect, what management inspects".

  2. The client provides SQM with a maximum number of inspections that they would like completed each month.
  3. The client is welcome to blackout any properties or dates from the inspection program, recognizing that the more restrictions that are in place, will result in fewer inspections being completed.
  4. With the exception of any project set-up fees, the only costs will be the expenses and taxes incurred during the course of the inspections (i.e. there will be No Mystery Shop inspection fees).
  5. In the event that a request is made to inspect a property on a specific date, our regular fee structure would apply (i.e. approximately $325.00, but based on project specific).

SQM's Online Feedback Programs

SQM Reports These days, many companies are looking for feedback from various stakeholders (i.e. customers, employees, franchisees, suppliers, etc.), but also lower costs.

Although such research is typically quite expensive, SQM has leveraged it's online technology to allow organizations the ability to distribute a comment card or survey, to anyone in a particular group, for a fraction of the cost of other programs.


In terms of SQM's Online Feedback programs, the process is quite simple.

  1. You drive traffic to your website (letters, emails, messages on receipts, tent cards, posters, etc).
  2. You can offer respondents some type of incentive (free merchandise, gift cards, etc.).
  3. When the person goes to your website, they would click on a link that takes them to the comment card survey.
  4. Within seconds of completing the comment card survey, authorized users receive an email, and could log in to retrieve the individual questionnaire and updated statistical reports.


The incoming data and summary statistics are viewed, online, using SQM's sophisticated reporting system (IRIS). In the event that multiple programs are being operated (i.e. Mystery Shops, internal audits, etc.) all information would be available in the same, online location. As with all of SQM's programs, management will be able to control who has access to the results.

With most programs involving a low, monthly fee of $10.00 per location* ($5.00 if operating an ongoing Mystery Shopping program), we invite you to compare our programs to others in the marketplace.
