Position: PART-TIME BILINGUAL (FRENCH) EDITOR / CALLER

Full/Part - Time: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm - May include some weekend and evening work as required
Location: On Site at Sensors Quality Management Inc.
Salary: $12.00 per hour English work / $12.50 per hour French work

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This person will report directly to The Editing Supervisor. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Editing incoming reports (i.e. Mystery Shops, surveys, etc.);
  • Proofreading documents (i.e. forms, instructions, marketing materials, manuals, newsletters etc.);
  • Data Entry;
  • Telephone Mystery Shops;
  • Telephone surveys;
  • Contacting SQM's Field Representatives;
  • Contacting potential Field Representatives;
  • Tracking calls;
  • Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will possess or be currently working towards a Degree, Diploma or Major in French, Literature, Linguistics, or Translation. A critical eye for detail is essential for the position. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Email and the Internet is mandatory. An understanding of Lotus Notes would be an asset. The ability to be comfortable making telephone calls is required. Strong communication (both written and oral) and outstanding organizational skills are a must. Enthusiasm, energy and a goal / results-oriented attitude are prerequisites. Preference will be given to bilingual applicants especially those with a proficiency in English, French and Spanish. Position: SALES MANAGER - FIELD MERCHANDISING SERVICES

Full/Part - Time: Full Time
Location:On Site at Sensors Quality Management Inc., 156 Duncan Mill Road, Suite 19, Toronto, ON M3B 3N2

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Due to our recent expansion into Field Merchandising, we would like to aggressively grow this area of our business. As a result, Sensors Quality Management Inc. is currently looking to add a Sales Manager - Field Merchandising Services to our growing team. Although the main focus of this position will be to sell Field Merchandising Services, the person will also be responsible for generating sales of SQM's other services. This position reports directly to the President of the company.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Acquiring new business leads;

  • Following up on internal leads;

  • Developing relationships with new clients;

  • Negotiating pricing structures with existing and potential clients;

  • Developing and negotiating contracts;

  • Managing the transition of new clients to the Operations Department;

  • Maintaining rapport with existing clients;

  • Strategic planning and value enhancement;

  • Client care and client satisfaction management;

  • Conduct research on market development;

  • Assess marketing and sales opportunities;

  • Assist in developing new marketing strategies;

  • Networking and developing industry knowledge and expertise; and

  • Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate should possess a degree in Business Management or Marketing, or have experience in a progressive sales position. Above average communication skills are required for this position, including excellent skills in public speaking. Creativity and excellent time management skills are essential. A vehicle is mandatory, as well as a valid drivers license and current insurance. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, and also be an active member of the team. Experience and comfort in a computerized environment are essential to the position. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Email and the Internet is mandatory. An understanding of Lotus Notes would be desirable. Strong communication (both written and oral), a critical eye for detail and outstanding organizational skills are a must. Position: LEAD GENERATOR

THE POSITION

Sensors Quality Management Inc. is presently looking to add a Lead Generator to our team. The main focus of this position is to identify potential clients for SQM, through various telephone and online activities. Although this position is part of SQM’s Sales and Marketing Department, there are no specific sales activities associated with the role.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This employee reports directly to the President, but will also be liaising with the Sales and Marketing Team. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Completing short telephone surveys (NOT SALES CALLS) to assist in identifying potential clients
  • Researching and identifying industry contacts

  • Building direct mail and direct email lists

  • Developing and/or implementing direct mail or direct email campaigns

  • Other duties as required

The successful candidate should possess a diploma or degree in Business Management or Marketing, or have experience in a progressive sales position. Strong communication skills, (both oral and written) are required for this position. Creativity and excellent time management skills are essential. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, as well as an active member of the team. A large amount of this work will involve time on the telephone as well as on the computer, so the successful candidate must be comfortable completing these tasks on a regular basis. Experience and comfort in a computerized environment is essential to the position. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, social media, and the internet is mandatory, while an understanding of Lotus Notes would be desirable. Enthusiasm, energy and a goal/results-oriented attitude are prerequisites. Preference will be given to bilingual applicants.
