Position: LOTUS NOTES DEVELOPER / PROGRAMMER

Work Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm - May include some weekend and evening work as required

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This person will report directly to the Information Technology Manager. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Performing website development and Domino Servers upgrades
  • Developing and designing forms and statistical reports
  • Developing and designing web applications using Lotus Script, Java Script, Java, HTML, C++ and other web related tools
  • Testing code and applications
  • Performing internal system enhancements
  • Providing technical support to office employees, external company representatives and clients
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate must be able to work independently, as well as be an active member of the team.  A Computer Science Diploma / Degree is preferred, however, a candidate with previous experience in Lotus Notes, Lotus Script, and X Pages Development / Programming will be considered.  Previous knowledge of Java, Java Scrip, HTML, C++, Visual Basic and the various web applications is an asset.  An IBM Certified Lotus Domino Administrator is preferred but not essential.  Strong communication (both written and oral), a critical eye for detail and outstanding organizational skills are a must.  Enthusiasm, energy and a goal results attitude are prerequisites.  Preference will be given to bilingual applicants.   • Planning, managing, and implementing direct mail and direct email campaigns
  • Preparing and distributing company press releases
  • Communicating with media / press contacts
  • Developing and designing marketing literature
  • Preparing presentation materials
  • Ensuring a strong, online presence for all SQM brands
  • Implementing Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing to increase the number of qualified visitors to SQM websites
  • Researching and developing innovative and compelling content for company websites, social media, and online forums

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have previous experience with Marketing and / or Internet Marketing. A college or university degree in Communications, Business Management, Marketing or a related discipline, is a pre-requisite. The successful completion of Internet Marketing courses is a definite asset. A background in customer service, recruiting, travel or sales is a definite asset. This is a fast paced and deadline oriented office.

Strong communication skills (both written and oral) are required for this position. Of particular importance will be excellent writing skills along with a grasp of writing for an online audience. A critical eye for detail and outstanding organizational skills are a must, along with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and multi-task assignments. The successful candidate must be able to work independently as well as being an active member of the team. Experience and comfort in a computerized environment is essential to the position.   • Managing and supervising the Field Resources Department
  • Planning and forecasting
  • Budgeting
  • Labour management
  • Performing performance reviews
  • Acting as a liaison between the Field Resources Department and other departments within the company
  • Representing the Field Resources Department at management meetings

Position: TRAVEL PROGRAMS COORDINATOR

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This person will report directly to the Travel Programs Manager of Sensors Quality Management Inc. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

TRAVEL PROGRAMS DUTIES:

  • Market select programs to SQM’s field force, as well as individuals from outside the SQM family
  • Recruit and train new inspectors
  • Work with internal departments, to complete such duties as: recruiting, assigning, training, and follow-up
  • Schedule assignments for the SQM field force
  • Processing payments and refunds
  • Edit and track incoming inspection reports
  • Track the quality and quantity of inspections
  • Adjust programs to ensure success
  • Provide technical support to SQM’s field force and clients
  • Act as a liaison between inspectors and SQM management
  • Provide customer service to inspectors and act as their inside contact
  • Participate as a key planner in the growth and development of the programs

EDITOR / CALLER DUTIES:

Due to our recent expansion into Field Merchandising, we would like to aggressively grow this area of our business. As a result, Sensors Quality Management Inc. is currently looking to add a Sales Manager - Field Merchandising Services to our growing team. Although the main focus of this position will be to sell Field Merchandising Services, the person will also be responsible for generating sales of SQM's other services. This position reports directly to the President of the company. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Position: LEAD GENERATOR

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sensors Quality Management Inc. is presently looking to add a Lead Generator to our team. The main focus of this position is to identify potential clients for SQM, through various telephone and online activities. Although this position is part of SQM’s Sales and Marketing Department, there are no specific sales activities associated with the role. This employee reports directly to the President, but will also be liaising with the Sales and Marketing Team. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Completing short telephone surveys (NOT SALES CALLS) to assist in identifying potential clients
  • Researching and identifying industry contacts
  • Building direct mail and direct email lists
  • Developing and / or implementing direct mail or direct email campaigns
  • Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate should possess a diploma or degree in Business Management or Marketing, or have experience in a progressive sales position. Strong communication skills, (both oral and written) are required for this position. Creativity and excellent time management skills are essential. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, as well as an active member of the team. A large amount of this work will involve time on the telephone as well as on the computer, so the successful candidate must be comfortable completing these tasks on a regular basis. Experience and comfort in a computerized environment is essential to the position. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, social media, and the internet is mandatory, while an understanding of Lotus Notes would be desirable. Enthusiasm, energy and a goal / results-oriented attitude are prerequisites. Preference will be given to bilingual applicants.
